Siveco Group, founded in 1986, is Europe’s largest supplier of Maintenance Management Systems (MMS), with more than 80,000 users in over 60 countries. Siveco provides innovative maintenance solutions, based on PC or Mobile devices, to assist maintenance technicians in their daily work.

Siveco China was founded at the end of 2004, with first projects in Infrastructures and Utilities. Siveco’s business then quickly expanded to manufacturing plants, supporting leading multinationals to establish or expand their Chinese operations. According to Chinese characteristics, Siveco has developed a unique approach to address the specific needs of maintenance in China.

Since 2008, Siveco China has established itself as the leading maintenance consultancy in China, with unmatched capabilities in maintenance management, technical services as well as MMS implementation. The Shanghai office became part of Siveco’s global support network, providing remote services to customers worldwide.

What solutions does your company provide for enterprises in China to promote urban ecological sustainability?

Since 2004 Siveco China provides a combination of specialized consulting services and innovative digital solutions to help Environmental, Energy and Urban Transportation infrastructures to optimize their assets lifecycle, to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance. We call our solutions‘Smart Operation Maintenance’.

自2004年以来，喜科中国公司提供了专业的咨询服务和创新的数字化解决方案，以帮助环境、能源和城市交通基础设施优化其资产生命周期，降低运维风险，并确保合法合规。我们称我们的解决方案为“智慧运营与维护”。

2.贵公司怎样在运维管理领域为客户创造价值？ 您的解决方案在中国有何创新或独特之处？

How does your company create value for customers in the field of operation and maintenance management? What is the innovation or uniqueness of your solution in China?

Controlling industrial risk – which is the same as Resilience which is the topic of the event – is a primary objective for public infrastructures. However, most companies use IT systems that are not aligned with their strategic calls. In China, most infrastructure companies still struggle with this challenge. The main value Siveco provides is to ensure digital systems support the OM strategy. This has a wide impact on compliance, safety, operational cost, etc.

控制工业风险——与本次活动的主题“韧性”一样——是公用基础设施的主要目标。然而，大多数公司使用的IT系统与他们的战略需求并不一致。在中国，大多数基础设施企业仍在努力应对这一挑战。喜科提供的主要价值是确保数字化系统支持企业运维战略。这对合规性、安全性、运营成本等都有广泛的影响。

What is unique is we combine expertise (consulting) and digital solutions. In it unique in China, but also overseas, which explains our expanding export business from China. Our digital solutions themselves are very people-driven, unlike most systems which are sensor/machine driven. Our solution bluebee “for the worker of tomorrow” for example is designed to be used by OM workers on mobile.

How important is the Chinese market to your company?

China is our main market. Our Chinese office is our largest office worldwide. We are the largest supplier in our very specialized field in China. We also operate a RD center in Shanghai.

中国是我们的主要市场。我们的中国办公室是我们在全球最大的办事处。我们是中国非常专业领域最大的供应商。我们还在上海经营着一个研发中心。

China is for us an export platform, we work with Chinese construction firms or directly with projects all over the world, such as India, Brazil (with State Grid), Malaysia (with CNEEC), etc. Our digital solutions are exported all over the world.

中国对我们来说是一个出口的平台，我们与中国的建筑工程公司或直接与世界各地的项目合作，如印度、巴西（有国家电网）、马来西亚（有中国电力工程有限公司）等。我们的数字化解决方案可以出口到世界各地。

4.今年研讨会的主题为 “韧性城市的建设” ，喜科集团在增强基础设施的韧性方面有哪些经验分享？

The theme of this years seminar is the construction of resilient cities. What experience does Siveco Group have in enhancing the resilience of infrastructure?

Our business is directly related to enhancing the resilience of infrastructures, through better asset management, risk management and implementing the resilience strategy into actual Operation Maintenance. We have worked with over 1000 client sites in China, including groups such as State Grid, Beikong, Capital Environment, Yingde Gases and many more. One of China’s largest environmental project, the Integrated Waste Management Facility of Hong Kong, is working with us.

What solutions are your company developing/what prospects are relevant to promoting sustainable urban construction? (Future direction)

First, we will continue to support Chinese clients. The market potential is still very large and still underdeveloped: Chinese infrastructures have accumulated a lot of experience, many assets and need to adapt to a more challenging regulatory environment. They are more and more aware of our approach. In terms of RD we constantly keep in to date with the latest technologies but our solutions remain people focused: despite all the talk about automation, and because of increasing automation, infrastructures are reliant on people, workers and managers – our solutions are designed for them.
